The Mt. Pinos Communities Fire Safe Council is an organization with private volunteers and public agencies working together to preserve and protect all the communities in the Mt. Pinos area from wildfire. With the recent threat to all the communities from the Day Fire, we all feel a sense of urgency about doing our part to protect our homes, our families, our animals, and our natural resources from the horrible damage, and even death, that can be caused by wildfire. This website provides information about property clearances, fire-wise landscaping, emergency preparedness, and how to become part of this important effort by volunteering for or contributing to the local area fire safe council.
